About Yachtluéur

A perspective shaped by the harbour light.

Some people inherit the sea.
I found my way to it.

My first encounter with the yachting world was in Monaco — standing on the old stone ramparts above Port de Fontvieille, the harbour unfolding below in a scatter of white hulls. The air was salted with diesel and varnish. Halyards ticked against masts. A launch idled past, its wake rocking the quay as cafés laid out their first cups of the morning.

From that height, yachting looked like pure spectacle.
Stay long enough, and it becomes something else entirely — a culture.

That moment became the beginning of Yachtluéur.

We are not a catalogue of things to buy, nor a closed club trading insider names. Yachtluéur is an editorial house built on curiosity, craft, and an unwavering standard of style. We write for those who understand that a yacht is more than a vessel — it is a stage for design, heritage, and the art of living well on water.

Our stories are chosen with intent. We speak to shipwrights and stylists, captains and crews, artisans and visionaries. We go beyond specifications and sales pitches to uncover the details that matter — the curve of a handrail, the scent of teak in the sun, the hush of an anchorage at dawn.

We are independent in voice, meticulous in research, and exacting in taste. When we recommend, it is because we believe it belongs in the world we are building — a world that treats the sea with the same reverence fashion’s great houses give to fabric, form, and tradition.

If the sea draws you in — owner, crew, or simply curious — I hope Yachtluéur feels like a good conversation on deck after sunset, when the harbour lights rise and voices soften.
